Guangxi Price Bureau: Urgent Circular on Cane Price in 2012/2013
By CnAgri2013-03-08 10:32:32 Print Various City Price Bureau:The provincial government approved the cane price in 2012/2013 (document code 756576201350848). There are the following urgent issues:
1. Guangxi shall continue to exercise identical first payment policy for plain sugarcanes. The first payment price for plain sugarcanes is 475 yuan/ton in 2012/2013.
2. Sugarcane price shall continue to link up with sugar price and there should be second price settlement. The 475 yuan/ton sugarcane price is linked up with 6590 yuan/ton average selling price for white granulated sugar of first grade (including tax), and the linkage coefficient is still 6%.
3. There should be higher price for better quality sugarcanes and there should be promotion of elite species. For 10 species including Guitang 29, Guitang 31 (Guitang 02/281), the price increase is 30 yuan/ton.
4. There shall be continual practice of identical second price settlement in the region. In 2012/2013 there should be continuation of second payment in compliance with the “Interim Methods on Second Price Settlement for Sugarcanes in Guangxi). The second settlement price shall be announced after calculation and discussion with relevant departments of the region.
