Keywords:Soybean Imports
China’s soybean imports registered 2.9 million MT in February, 39.3% less than the month before and 24.3% less than the same period of last year, attributable to long Spring Festival holidays. Soybean imports totaled 7.68 million MT in January ~ February, a drop of 9% on the year-on-year basis.

The loading of soybeans onto ships for China is delayed at Brazilian ports. This may affect soybean supply in China in March and April. China’s soybean stock may shrink to 4 million MT in the near future.
