Textile Industry’s Exports in March
By CnAgri2013-04-18 11:05:30 Print The textile industry exported $7.504 billion worth textile products and $15.334 billion garments in March, up 27.46% and 44.82% respectively over the month before, down 11.77% but up 49.09% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Adjusting for currency value change, the textile product export value decreased 7.8% but the garment export value added 52.98%, compared with the same period of last year.The textile industry’s export value accounted for 12.54% of the nation’s total export value in March, slightly more than the month before and than the same period of last year. This may help prop up cotton price.
