Pork: On June 19th, in the pork wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of pig carcass was RMB20.02Yuan/KG, up 2.35% compared with last week. For this week, the price of live hog was RMB14.33Yuan/KG, up 3.92% compared with last week. Prices for pork and live hog went on increasing steadily this week. Live hog market recovered in th eprevius period, so breeding farmers’ unwillinness to sell strengthened and slaughterhouses raised purchasing price. Live hog supply is still adequate and pork consumption enters slack season after Dragon Boat Festival. Live hog market lacks favorable factors to stimulate price up. It is predicted pork price shall keep stable. (Figure 1)
