Corn Market Is Well Expected
By CnAgri2013-07-18 10:51:25 Print Corn:On July 17th, 2013, the average wholesale price of feed corn in main production areas is RMB2,435Yuan/MT, up 0.64% compared with last week. Domestic corn market kept the upward trend, especially quality corn. State Grain Reserves buy large amounts of American corn, which will intensively arrive in the fourth quarter. Pressure from the arrivals on domestic corn market should be noticed. In July, under the circumstance that grain depot becomes the only channel of grain resources and surplus grain of farmers is exhausted, domestic corn price shall go up steadily. But as it is season for corn round out now in NC and corn consumption is not strong in deep processing and feed industry, corn piece increase faces obstructions. However, we still remain optimistic about price increase of quality corn. (Table 1)From “China Livestock and Feed Market Weekly Report”
