Summer Crop Production in 2013

Summer crop yield averages 4,782kg/hectare, up 1.5% over last year. Summer crop production is estimated to be 131.89 million MT, 1.5% more than last year. Of the eleven major summer-crop production provinces, seven realized a production increase totaling 3.28 million MT but four suffered a production decrease totaling 1.32 million MT, compared with last year.
