Production of Food with Sugar Content from January to June 2013

The output of confectionary was 1.11 million tons from January to June, up 15.18% from the same period of 2012; fast frozen staple food, 2.60 million tons, up 51.66% from the same period of 2012; dairy products, 13.07 million tons, up 13.63% from the same period of 2012; canned food, 4.47 million tons, up 11.71% from the same period of 2012; carbonated drinks, 7.76 million tons, up 18.16% from the same period of 2012; fruit juices and drinks, 11.41 million tons, up 15.07% from the same period of 2012; frozen beverage, 1.49 million tons, up 12.88% from the same period of 2012. (Note: The Bureau of Statistics no longer issues production data to commercial agencies since March 2013, and BOABC obtained the official data from the Bureau through other channels after months of communication and coordination. However it was impossible to get production data on fruit juices/drinks, the numbers are estimate.)
