Feed Labeling Regulations Revised
By CnAgri2013-10-17 11:12:11 Print The State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has recently issued the revised edition of Feed Labeling Regulations. The following are some of the newly added requirements:First, “prevention and treatment of animal diseases” is prohibited in feed labels. Second, there should be common names for feed products in labels. Third, suggested dosage and precaution notices should be labeled for premixed feed containing additives, trace elements or vitamins. Fourth, animal-derived feed, GMO feed, imported feed and specially-designed feed are required to be made known in labels.
