Cotton Imports in Jan. ~ Sept. 2013
By CnAgri2013-10-28 14:06:44 Print According to the Customs, China’s cotton imports were 201,300 MT in Sept., 27% less than the month before and 23.4% less than the same period of last year. Cotton imports totaled 3.227 million MT in Jan. ~ Sept., a slip of 19.93% on the year-on-year basis, attributable to domestic bumper harvest and plenty of imports in 2012/2013.Cotton imports are predicted to be 2.9 million MT in 2013/2014. Year-end inventory and safety index are presumed to drop moderately.
