Textile Industry’s Exports in Sept. 2013
By CnAgri2013-10-30 11:32:54 PrintChina’s textile product and garment exports valued $9.088 billion and $17.496 billion respectively in Sept., down 3.19% and 6.21% respectively from the month before, but up 6.4% and 5.5% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Adjusting for US currency value change, China’s textile product and garment export value actually increased 7.14% and 7.44% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
The textile industry’s export value accounted for 14.32% of the nation’s total export value in Sept., a smaller share than the same period of last year, attributable to the appreciation of the Chinese currency.
