China Soybean Imports in Oct. 2013

China’s soybean imports were 4.19 million MT in Oct., 51 MT less than the month before, but 16 MT more than the same period of last year. Soybean imports totaled 49.97 million MT in Jan. ~ Oct., an increase of 3.4% on the year-on-year basis.
 
Soybean import price was $614/MT in Oct., up $11/MT over the month before. Soybean import price averaged $608/MT in Jan. ~ Oct.
 
Soybean imports in the last two months of this year are predicted to add up to 12 ~ 13 million MT.
