Prescription Required for Livestock Farms’ Purchase of Antibiotics
By CnAgri2013-11-14 11:30:25 PrintThe Ministry of Agriculture has recently issued a set of Regulations of Prescription Drugs & OTC Drugs for Veterinary Use, which stipulates that, from next March on, antibiotics, antiparasitic drugs and antipyretic and analgesic are prohibited to be sold to buyers without a veterinarian’s prescription, a measure to standardize livestock drug agencies’ sale. BOABC considers that it may take a long time for both the farmers and drug agencies to follow this requirement.
