Beef Price to Keep High
By CnAgri2013-11-25 13:33:03 Print Beef: On Nov. 20th, in the beef wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh boning-out leg meat is RMB54.10Yuan/KG, up 0.39% from last week. With beef consumption increase recently, slaughter of beef cattle increased in slaughterhouses. With high procurement price and high labor cost, domestic beef price shall continue rising. To meet domestic demand, some slaughterhouses and trade company increase beef imports and the price is 20% lower than domestic beef. (Figure 2)From “China Livestock and Feed Market Weekly Report”
