The Analysis of Fertilizer Investment in Jan.-Mar.2014

In Jan.-Mar., accumulative amount of the investment of nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer and compound fertilizer were respectively 2.9 billion Yuan, 990 million Yuan, 800million Yuan, and 7.65 Yuan, up -25.3%, 25.9%, 21.6%, 36.8% respectively, the investment of nitrogen fertilizer and potash fertilizer saw a continuing decline.
 
In Jan.-Mar. fertilizer industry in China has 690 projects under construction, up 9.7%, among that, nitrogen fertilizer has 76, down 8.4% YOY, phosphate fertilizer has 41, up 10.8% YOY, and potash fertilizer has 22, the same with last year. The new projects are 228 up 8.1%, among that the new projects of nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer and compound fertilizer were respectively 27,11,8 and 68, up 3.855,22.2%,166.7%,-12.8% respectively.
 
In Jan.-Mar. the average investment scale was 27.08 million Yuan, down 4.1% YOY, from the sub-industry, nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer and compound fertilizer‘s investment scale were 38.14 million Yuan, 24.13 million Yuan, 36.43 million Yuan, and 33.68 million Yuan, up -18.4%, -33.1%, 21.6%, and 30.7% respectively
