US EPA opened the public comments for periodic reviews of 15 pesticide active ingredients
By CnAgri Print The US EPA has opened the public comments for registration reviews of 15 pesticide active ingredients, which are EPA's periodic reviews to ensure that each pesticide continues to satisfy the statutory standard for registration. In addition, the EPA also announces the registration review case closures for the insecticides oxydemeton-methyl (ODM) and resmethrin.
The registration reviews for the insecticides oxydemeton-methyl and resmethrin have closed, and the cancellation of their registration will be effective on Dec 31, 2014 and Dec 31, 2015 respectively.The Agency also announces the availability of EPA’s draft human health and ecological risk assessments for the registration review of acetaminophen, clofentezine, fluazinam, hexythiazox, quinclorac, sulfur, and triflumizole.
The public comments will be closed before Aug 26, 2013.
