With the total investment of RMB 2.6 billion and floor area of half million square meters, it can produce 1.2 million MT of corn starch and its further processed products every year. This project is divided into two phases. The first phase with the investment of RMB 1.5 billion would produce 400,000 MT of starch, 100,000 MT of lysine, 30,000 MT of modified starch and 30,000 MT of threonine, as well as supporting pipe network projects; the second phase with the investment of RMB 1.1 billion would produce 400,000 MT of starch, 100,000 MT of lysine, 70,000 MT of modified starch, 70,000 MT of threonine and 100,000 MT of starch sugar.
