Reasons for Market Boost of Rapeseed Meal

Listed for trading for only a few days, rapeseed meal and rapeseed futures market rally, the main reasons for which are as follows: firstly, it is said China shall raise holding-the-market purchasing price for rapeseed in 2013/14; secondly, from Jan 1st this year, China shall carry out registration system for rapeseed meal import, which may cause import decrease of rapeseed meal; thirdly, large scope of low temperature and rain and snow in SC recently affected growth of rapeseed and agricultural production. Under the situation of great fall of domestic soymeal spot price, it is estimated domestic rapeseed meal spot price is hard to go further high. (Table 6)
