Broiler Price to Increase

By CnAgri2013-02-25 11:14:34 Print Broiler：On Feb. 20th, 2013, in the major broiler wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh chicken meat is RMB15.01Yuan/KG, up 2.60% compared with days before Spring Festival. The purchasing price from farms of broiler chicken was RMB9.83Yuan/KG this week, up 6.50% compared with days before Spring Festival, the chick price was RMB3.25 each, up 60.89% compared with days before Spring Festival. Slaughterhouse began to purchase chicken and chicken consumption in canteen of school and factory also increased after Spring Festival. Therefore, it is predicted chicken price shall increase slightly.
 
This week the average wholesale price of live broilers is RMB16.75Yuan/KG in main producing regions, up 1.03% compared with days before Spring Festival. yellow feather broiler market will be stable after Spring Festival and it is predicted broiler price shall be mainly stable . (Figure 5)
