“Fake Mutton” Event Influenced Mutton Consumption
By CnAgri2013-05-16 10:59:25 Print Mutton: On May 15th, the mutton wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of bone-in fresh mutton is RMB52.53Yuan/KG, down 0.17% compared with last week. “Fake Mutton” event continued developing last week and insecure mutton was found in Shanghai, Shandong, Shenzhen and Inner Mongolia successively. In BOABC’s opinion, the exposure of “Fake Mutton” event is favorable for standardization of mutton market, but demand for mutton and mutton products is hard to resume.
