Cow Import in Aug down 26.19% YOY

China imported 55,676 dairy cattle during the first eight months of 2013, down 26.19% year on year; the average import price was 2,631 US dollars/head, down 9.71% year on year. The import in August was 6,870, down 54.95% year on year at the average of 2,346 US dollars/head, down 25.99% year on year; the import from Australia was 3915 and New Zealand 2955.
