Pesticide Export Continues To Go Upwards

In the first 8 months, total pesticide import hit 42,857 tons, up 6%, including insecticide 7,903 tons, fungicide 18,948 tons and herbicide 16,006 tons.

In August, Chinese crude pesticide export hit 75,293 tons, up 25% over last year and down 6% over last month, including insecticide 14,722 tons, down 8%, fungicide 6,271 tons, up 7% and herbicide 54,300 tons, down 7%. In the first 8 months of 2013, pesticide export was 716,600 tons, up 26%, including insecticide was 123,607 tons, fungicide 49,188 tons and herbicide 543,841 tons, up 4%, 12% and 22% respectively.
 
In August, FOB price of wholesaled insecticide, fungicide and herbicide was 4,591dollars, 4,487dollars and 3,196 dollars. Chinese pesticide export showed a upwards trend in August, with the three varieties up 4%, 12% and 22% respectively.
