Beef Price to Keep High with Tight Supply
By CnAgri2013-10-24 11:28:19 Print Beef: On Oct. 23rd, in the beef wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh boning-out leg meat is RMB52.71Yuan/KG, up 0.19% from last week. With not high operating rate of large scale beef cattle slaughterhouses, beef supply was tight. Meanwhile, cattle procurement price and cost for labor and transportation registered high, so it is predicted beef price shall remain high in short terms.
