Egg Price Up Influenced by Weather Condition

By CnAgri2013-11-28 10:50:23 Print Egg: On Nov. 27th, 2013, at the major egg wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh eggs is RMB8.23Yuan/KG, down 1.56% compared with last week. Price for eggs from farmers is RMB7.33Yuan/KG this week. NE suffered from heavy snow, egg transportation is blocked in short terms, so egg price in other production areas shall increase slightly. Besides, strong winds brought temperature decline in NC areas, which would influence laying capacity and egg price shall increase accordingly. In short terms, however, egg price increase shall be limited in short terms with steady egg consumption. With coming of New Year and Spring Festival, egg price is predicted to recover gradually.
