China DDGS Imports up and Price down

By CnAgri2014-01-27 09:58:05 Print DDGS：On Jan. 22nd 2014, the average wholesale price of DDGS in main production areas is RMB2,283Yuan/MT, down 5.19% compared with last week. Domestic DDGS price saw large fluctuation since October in 2013. In Sept.-Nov., large amounts of DDGS imports took a hit to domestic market and domestic alcohol enterprises declined price significantly; since mid-November, influenced by busy container shipment in America and return of American GM MIR162 corn, DDGS price saw rapid growth. With end of stockings by terminal feed enterprises and DDGS imports increase in some ports, domestic DDGS price resumed declining. It is predicted domestic DDGS price shall remain weak. (Table 3)
