Imported and Exported rapeseed meal varieties of China include low erucic acid rapeseed meal and other rapeseed meal. In 2014, import quantity of low erucic acid rapeseed meal and other rapeseed meal was 120,200 MT and 143,000 MT respectively, up 100% and up 115% respectively compared with 2013. In 2014 total rapeseed meal output was about 11 million tons releasing 5 consecutive years growth, while rapeseed import volume only responsible for 3% of the total consumption volume. Main sources of China rapeseed meal imports are UAE, Pakistan, Canada and Ethiopia. BOABC thinks that this cooperation between China and India will make China’s rapeseed meal import realize recovery growth.
