Based on the news released by MOA, in December live hog breeding stock declined by 2.3% MOM, and down by 7.8% YOY. In 2014 live hog breeding stock experienced rising up at first and then dropping off. Furthermore with the adjusting of breeding structure, our breeding scale became higher and higher.
 
According to BOABC‘s survey, our breeding level is comfortably low with average PSY of 14.56 which lower than foreign average level nearly 5 – 7. Although our live hog breeding is weak, but in future, with the development of new technologies, this industry will have new growth points.
