Great Market Potential for New-Type Fertilizer

The nation’s new-type fertilizer productive capacity in 2012 was 16 ~ 17 million MT a year, just 5% of the total fertilizer capacity. Microbial fertilizer capacity and slow-release fertilizer capacity were about 9.3 million MT/year and 3.5 million MT/year respectively in 2012.
 
New-type fertilizer sales value was RMB60.5 billion in 2012, an increase of 25% on the year-on-year basis and accounting for 7% of total fertilizer sales.
 
It is predicted that new-type fertilizer’s annual sales may grow at a pace of 10%, exceeding RMB90 billion in 2015.
