With Broiler Inventory up, Chicken Price to Go down
By CnAgri2013-09-24 11:25:01 Print Broiler:On Sept. 18th, 2013, in the major broiler wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh chicken meat is RMB14.45Yuan/KG, down 1.99% compared with last week. The purchasing price from farms of broiler chicken was RMB8.23Yuan/KG this week, down 4.19% compared with last week, the chick price was RMB1.99 each, down 6.13% compared with last week. Broiler inventory recovers gradually and broiler also increases in market. But with end of broiler stocking for Mid-Autumn Day, it is predicted chicken price shall remain stable and may decline slightly in short terms.This week the average wholesale price of live broilers is RMB13.58Yuan/KG in main producing regions, down 8.36% compared with last week. It is predicted price for live broiler shall remain stable in short terms. (Figure 4)
