Sugar Output and Sales in Key Sugar Producers by the End of August

By CnAgri2013-09-30 11:28:31 Print Data from China Sugar Association on key sugar producers: the aggregate processing of sugar crops of key sugar producers had recorded 90.4668 million tons till the end of August in the 2012/13 campaign and the aggregate sales amount had registered 10.5658 million tons. The key sugar producers had sold 9.4621 million tons sugar in total and the sales ratio stood at 89.55%; the average selling price for finished white sugar was 5549.74 yuan/ton, of which 5783.76 yuan/ton for beet sugar and 5530.33 yuan/ton for cane sugar.
 
The average selling price for finished white sugar by the key sugar producers was 5423.59 yuan/ton in June, of which 5650.65 yuan/ton for white granulated sugar from beets and 5409.02 yuan/ton for white granulated sugar from canes.
