Corn Wholesale Price Slightly Up on Nov.20th 2013

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-11-21 11:25:57China Agriculture Report Print Corn:On Nov. 20th, 2013, the average wholesale price of feed corn in main production areas is RMB2,361Yuan/MT, up 0.27% compared with last week. Temporary storage policy of corn and soybean is carried on in NE areas (including Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang, the same below). Procurement price for corn (GB3rd) is RMB1.13/Kg in Inner Mongolia and Liaoning, RMB1.12/Kg in Jilin and RMB1.11/Kg in Heilongjiang. With consideration of moisture deduction, the corn is procured as the ratio of 1:1.3 and price is deducted according to ration of 1:0.3 as the drying fee. Procurement price for soybean(GB3rd) is RMB2.3/Kg. The starting time is determined by state departments based on market conditions and the closing time is on April 30th,2013. Corn protective procurement is strongly carried out in NE and farmers’ game between pressure of new corn list and the policy should be focused on in short terms. It is predicted periodic bottom price of corn is gradually consolidated.  (Table 5)
