Fertilizer output increased slightly in May According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in May, China totally produced 6.32 million tons fertilizer (the pure production, the same below), up by 6.33% YOY. The productions of nitrogen fertilizer was 4.057 million tons, up by2.58% YOY, among that the production of urea and phosphate fertilizer respectively were 2.864 million tons and 1.633 million tons, the former up by 3.84% and the latter up by 15.9% respectively year on year. The output of DAP and MAP was respectively 1.542 million tons (physical quantity) and 1.799 million tons (physical quantity). As for potash fertilizer, the total production was 629,000 tons in May, up by 8.64% year on year.
