Egg prices declined more than 20% in one month, which is caused both by seasonal fluctuation and demand decrease, but virtual-high price is an more important reason and has reserved great space for the sharp decline of egg prices.
Later, a large batch of new layers will enter egg-producing period. Soon afterwards, a steady flow of new layers will start to produce eggs, so young chicken will be the main force of egg production for a longer term, and egg production is sufficient and a little surplus.
It’s predicted that China’s layer raising industry may suffer losses in Q4 of 2017 and Q1 of 2018.
