Pull Effect Is Limited of H7N9 to Beef and Mutton Prices

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-04-18 11:12:56China Agriculture Report Print Beef: On April 17th, 2013, in the beef wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh boning-out leg meat is RMB51.48Yuan/KG, up 0.66% from last week.  Though the bird flu has caused serious influences on poultry products, beef and mutton consumption was not pulled up. In short terms, the market shall see hardly good favorable news and the price is predicted to stabilize with less fluctuation. (Figure 4)
 



Mutton: On April 17th, 2013, the mutton wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of bone-in fresh mutton is RMB52.89Yuan/KG, up 0.23% compared with last week. It is predicted mutton price shall stabilize in the coming week.  (Figure 5)
